Where can you find a good Italian restaurant close to Berri-UQAM metro?

Close to Berri-UQAM there DaGiovanni on Sainte-Catherine facing the square. On Saint-Denis there is Pizzedelic, le Sila and Paesano among others. In the village Piazetta, la Strega and Diavolo.
And the top is not to far west René-Levesque at Jeanne-Mance le Latini, Schumaher and Pavarotti favorite.

The temperature at the end of September is about 15 degrees celsius during the day and around 8 at night.

What is the cost of a taxi or bus from the Trudeau airport (YUL) to "Le Chasseur"?

From the Trudeau airport, the taxi costs $38 flat and take about 20 minutes to reach this house. The bus (no 747) leave the airport every 15 minutes cost 8$ (buy ticket at exchange booth, ticket also valid for 24 hours buses and metro, consider a 3 days pass for 15$) come off bus at bus terminal, last stop and walk for 3 minutes to get here (150 meters away).

Yes we do have a secure high speed free wi-fi internet access covering the entire building. We also have an internet station with a printer for guest use.

Payment is upon arrival. We accepts debit card, Visa, Mastercard, travellers check in canadian dollars and of course canadians and US dollars.

Is it possible to do some shopping around without getting wet?

The underground city start 100 meters from the b&b, there a small shopping mall serve as an apetizer. With the subway line you reach McGill station the heart of shopping district: half dozen malls, large departments stores. Count more than 1500 shops and restaurants to certainly satisfy you.

How to get to Le Chasseur from Toronto ?

To get to Gîte Le Chasseur B&B
From Toronto you are arriving on 401 (Ontario) 20 (Québec)
Keep going on 20 est (east) Centre-ville (Downtown)
From Ottawa you are arriving on 417 (Ontario) 40 (Québec)
Arriving near the island of Montreal switch for the 20 Centre-ville
You will enter the island by the Galipeau bridge
Keep rolling for about 20 kms
Then switch to autoroute 720 Centre-Ville
When you get closer to the skyscrapers the highway goes underground.
Go thru the tunnel (about 2 kms.) Keep slow lane (3rd lane)
The first exit off the tunnel is St-Laurent/Berri, take it.
Be careful you will have to cross two merging lanes
On that exit keep right for the Berri side.
You are now on Saint-Antoine in the old Montreal.
The first traffic light is Saint-Denis.
There is a statue of a Patriote on Saint-Denis 50 meters North (your left).
The second traffic light is Berri, take it to your left.
You have to drive on Berri to the fifth traffic light:
first is Viger,
second is René-Lévesque,
third is Sainte-Catherine,
fourth is deMaisonneuve and
fifth, further up, is Ontario street. Take it to your right.
You are getting very close. On Ontario street go past
the first traffic light: Saint-Hubert, the second is
Saint-Andre, take it to your right, go down for
about 300 meters and Le Chasseur is there at 1567
on your left. Here you are.

What is your cancellation policy?

In general there is no charge if cancellation is made 7 days or more before date reserved. Inside 7 days of expected arrival, there is a penalty of one night.

Do you have any rooms with private baths that are also handicapped accessible? Or have minimum stairs in order to access?

No we are not handicapped accesible. Although room 1 is only 6 meters away from main door witch is 2 stair to sidewalk.

Is parking avaliable?
-
The establisment has no parking. It is possible to park on the street at certain location and at certain time, we will explain where upon arrival. There is a reserved unloading zone in front of the b&b from 3pm to 10pm. There is a pay parking (10$ per 24 hours with privilege of coming in and out) 75 yards at the end of the alley in front of the b&b.
